Milestone 11 - Missing
A sketch of the original milestone appears here at right. It seems to have disappeared. There is another plinth on the south side at Aldwyn Lane - part of a 6 way intersection. This seems about where the original stone should have been except on the North side. This new plinth has etchings of the township seal and the date, 1682, when the township was established. There is no mileage on it. *Above banner image was taken near St Paul's Episcopal Church West of Frazer, PA.

Between the 11th and 12th Milestones was the Plough Inn. Mr Ness who published Lancaster Mennonite Historical -Society Journeys of Adventures and Learning in 2009 places it at the 13.8 Mile mark. I have it as 2 miles closer to Philadelphia. Ness included a 1912 picture of it which I converted to the sketch shown here.
